I live in Delhi. I spent the first two decades of my life in Assam and Meghalaya. After graduating in science from North-Eastern Hill University, I became a banker. I quit after 13 years, and have since then been pretending to be a writer.
I write on all kinds of things...poverty, streetchildren, communal violence, N-politics, faith, terrorism, environmental issues, philosophic beetles, execrable politicians and wonderful stray dogs. I''ve also written some stuff for children.
I cook to survive, love music (used to play the drums for rock bands in the old days in Shillong), read a lot and remember very little.
